Approaches to LGBTQ+ visibility in surgery

Pride in Medicine President and general surgery fellow Matt Marino and general surgeon Richard Turner joined Pride in Surgery Forum (PRiSM) chair and consultant vascular surgeon Ginny Bowbrick and PRiSM vice-chair and orthopedic registrar Karen Chui to discuss common issues facing LGBTQ+ clinicians in Australia, Aotearoa NZ and the UK.

The podcast highlights different approaches being taken to gaining LGBTQ+ inclusion and visibility, and discusses how perceptions of the impact of homophobia and transphobia differ between LGBTQ+ and non-LGBTQ+ people.
